If you’re a blogger you probably don’t do it all from your laptop or desktop. More and more you’re doing blog tasks on the go. I do more now on my tablet and smartphone than I ever thought I would and these are the apps that I use for editing, keeping track of my stats, editing pictures and more. WordPress – Download the free app version of your blog’s platform. I use the WordPress app to monitor comments, upload photos, write posts and more. It’s a great way to make use of down time waiting on appointments, etc. Google Analytics – Are you ever curious while your out who’s visiting your blog? I get curious all the time and that’s why I love the Google Analtyics app. I can see how things are doing even when I’m not at home and I can access all the data I normally access on my PC. Dropbox or Google Drive – Not quite finished with your post and you have to leave home? Upload what you have to either Dropbox or Google Drive and access your documents on the go. I also use my Google Drive for creating spreadsheets to track social media shares and share pictures. Photoshop (Free) – You probably already have basic editing apps on your phone (like Instagram) but with Photoshop you can also correct red eye, crop, straighten and have access to more filters so your photos really stand out.
Evernote – I absolutely love Evernote. I can clip recipes, create lists, keep track of ideas, addresses and my schedule all in one place. I have Evernote on my computer and my smartphone so everything is always synced and I have my info with me wherever I go.
Wunderlist – I just installed Wunderlist today but have heard so many great things about it during the weekly Verizon Chat on Twitter (3 p.m. ET every Friday – hashtag #VZWBuzz). It’s similar to Evernote but many people have both so I’ll see how it works out and let you know.
So what are your favorite blogging apps or apps on the go? I’d love to hear your suggestions and maybe download some more. Apps are one of those things that I can never get enough of.
