Pssst….there’s a cool giveaway at the end as well!
Happy Labor Day! What did you do today? We just did the usual house stuff – no barbecues or anything like that…sort of a ho hum day…. *sigh* It’s still ridiculously hot here and I really can’t wait for the cooler days of autumn to start working outside again – I don’t like to sweat and in this weather any sort of outdoor activity leaves you sweaty so I’m boycotting it as much as a I can.
Yesterday I started a new and wonderful series on the blog about decluttering and sparking joy – the inner peace that comes from not being bound to our belongings is truly unbelievable and definitely Sparks Joy! I hope you’ll join me along with 7 other AMAZING bloggers sharing tips and our own journeys. The series will be every Sunday for the next few weeks – next week we tackle clothes – I managed to get rid of 14 bags so far 😉
I also shared ideas for a college care package for guys – my oldest is keeping up with his shaving and actually got a HAIRCUT today (insert Mom Woot!).
Also, if you have a teen, college student or know of anyone who could use a smartphone I have a giveaway going on for a PREPAID smartphone and entry is easy!
And lastly, I shared a post about how you can help your local school district earn CASH that they can use for supplies or anything they want (I had no idea it was this simple to help!!!).
Now let’s get to the party!
If you would like to link back to this post and share that you joined the party that would be great but even more than that I would ♥love♥ if you visited some of the other links and gave some encouragement and love to your fellow bloggers ~ let’s mingle!
Posting to our party means you are giving us the right to post your project and photos and promote via social media ~ features are shared on our What A Great Idea! Pinterest Board
We have a special giveaway for you today! Alphabet Trains is a charming children’s new book by author Samantha Vamos. This sweet story uses trains as a “vehicle” (pun intended) to help kids learn the alphabet. Each train gets a different letter of the alphabet plus there are plenty for youngsters to talk about– where do the trains go? What do they look like” What jobs do they do?
That special kiddo in your life will love this book!
