About
I have always loved creating. One of my earliest memories is of hand sewing and looking at my mother’s sewing box as a toy box. I continued in that vein for years trying almost every “new” craft or technique that came along. I then found myself single and supporting a family after having been a stay at home mom for 15 years. At one point I worked three jobs and one of the first things that I considered a luxury was the creative side of me….no time for creativity…it was something that I had to squelch and put aside. Thankfully, after several years of living that way, I am now down to one full-time job, yipppeee, and have given myself permission to start the pursuit of creativity again. It is definitely trial and error at this point but in a way, it is like riding a bike….you never forget how to do it. I am a little wobbly in my attempts right now, but hopefully will regain my pizzazz! Please join me for this journey and remember to never let the creative side of you die…don’t hold it back. Creativity is such an important part of who we are and who we were created to be so be sure to feed your creative side. ♥

Hello:
We follow you on twitter. We enjoy your creativity with baking and cooking.
Your driven nature is truly inspiring. I feel fortunate to have discovered your “creativity” and am quite sure I can learn a great deal from you. I feel blessed to be able to follow you in your creative journey. Thanks for all you do…
We are all about feeding the creative side! Especially when you are a mom of many! It’s easy for mommas to get lost and sacrifice their all, but in order to be the best mom, we must continue to be inspired and to set an example of following our dreams and passions!
I thoroughly enjoyed your site and commend you for following your heart and keeping wondrous family traditions. I know I will be speaking for many others when I say “Thank You for the reminder that tradition isn’t just some memory but can and should be an essential building block for future generations to come.” Warren Michaels
I LOVE your site, and I’ve started a file in my emails just to save your posts.
