Today I’m sharing The Easiest Way to Clean and Whiten Grout Without Scrubbing using Zep Grout Cleaner and Whitener as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #ZepSocialstars
I had always thought that the grout in my bathroom didn’t look too bad (until I took a good look at the picture below- YUCK!) I clean my tub and tile regularly so the thought of the grout needing to be perked up didn’t even occur to me but then I received the Zep Grout Cleaner and Whitener and I thought what the heck, I’d check it out. I truly didn’t anticipate any change in my grout but oh my goodness was I surprised (in a GOOD way!).
Application was easy – there is a built in squirt top and I just squirted it onto the grout and then the magic happened! Without any effort or scrubbing on my part the grout started to lighten up right before my very eyes. I was shocked (and thrilled!). I then started to do all of the grout – I became a little obsessed but the results brought me joy (I love cleaning and when things are clean…what can I say?!?).
I did have a small toothbrush handy in case I needed to scrub which I didn’t use but if you have grout that needs a little more attention, as might be the case for grout as part of a floor, you may need one for the tougher stains.
Zep Grout Cleaner and Whitener is a BLEACH FREE professional formula that renews and protects any grout color. My grout isn’t white but a little bit of an ivory tone and before reading the label I thought it wouldn’t do anything for my grout but it is safe for any color and it certainly did brighten things up!
As a total side note the Zep Grout Cleaner and Whitener can be used to remove rust stains from concrete. I didn’t try it in my garage (YET!) but I had some rust stains (grrrrr) in my bathtub. The product that dripped down onto the rust removed it almost completely and that made ME SUPER HAPPY! It’s not recommended for that but I wanted to share with you my results.
