The Secrets to a Delicious Iced Coffee – Cold Brewing & A Good Creamer

I do not hide my love for coffee ~ I post pictures {probably far too often} on Instagram of my morning {afternoon and evening} coffee times.  Soon it will be warming up and it’s time to perfect our Iced Coffee Making Skills {it is a skill you know!}.  In the past I have always just made a pot of strong coffee, added my cream and sugar and then let it cool down and kept it in the refrigerator for drinking but now I have a new and better way to make Iced Coffee ~ Cold BREWING!  The Cold Brewing gives you a coffee with less acidity than hot brewed coffee and a smoother less bitter taste.

Ingredients
  1. Coffee beans {fresh ground} or a coarse rich blend of ground coffee - 10 tablespoons
  2. 6 cups of cold water
  3. Extra Sweet & Creamy Nestle Coffee-mate Creamer
Instructions
  1. Mix the coffee and water in a mason jar or a pitcher and cover.
  2. Place in the refrigerator overnight (at least 9 hours).
  3. Separate the grounds from the water by placing a sieve with a paper coffee filter inside of it and pouring the coffee through the filter and sieve into another container. I'm not sure whether it is psychological or not but I prefer to steep and store this in a glass container.
  4. This is your iced coffee concentrate. I love my coffee Extra Sweet & Creamy so I added a hearty amount of this delicious creamer to my jar and stirred. I placed this back in the refrigerator to enjoy throughout the day.

I love my coffee, whether it be iced coffee or fresh hot brewed, with cream and sugar.  My new favorite coffee creamer is Extra Sweet & Creamy Nestle Coffee-mate creamer ~ it provides a creamy taste and extra sweetness.  This adds enough sweetness (not too much and certainly not overpowering) to make me happy without having to add any sugar.  You can also try adding the Original, Italian Sweet Cream or other Coffee-mate flavors to get that perfect coffee flavor.

    I love strong coffee. I drink it black when it’s hot. But I really enjoy it with some sweetener and creamer when I drink iced.

    I don’t need the coupons, just wanted to write and say: FINALLY! I never understood why my leftover coffee stored in the fridge didn’t taste as good as Starbucks iced coffee……now I know.

    I am glad someone has mastered the Cold Brew. I like iced coffee but have never mastered a perfect cup at home.
    As for the giveaway! I LOVE Coffee Mate’s Sweet Italian Cream creamer. I brew a medium roast with about 2 tablespoons of creamer. No sugar! The creamer is sweet enough!
    I do afternoon cups of coffee too.

    I like lotsa Vanilla & Caramel creamer & a dash of sugar in the raw in my breakfast blend, iced coffee.

    I like half & half and sugar in my coffee. I started cold brewing my coffee to reduce the acid, and now I find I like it much better than brewed coffee.
