Christmas Tree Tour

Today, I wanted to share with you my Christmas Trees.  They aren’t big and lavish but they suit me.  I have a small house that I love and a big tree just doesn’t fit.  It used to….back in the old days before three boys became a part of my life and a television and a desk went in to the living room….now…there’s just one little corner for a tree so I disperse small trees throughout the house.  This year I have 5 trees decorated but I’m only showing 4…the 5th one is in the bedroom of my two younger sons and I forgot to take pictures {okay…the room was a mess so I didn’t take pictures!}.

This little beauty is my girlie tree and sits on a countertop in the kitchen~ its tree skirt is a vintage linen kitchen towel.

The tree in the living room is a pencil tree that I placed into an antique copper wash tub ~ I strung it somewhat recklessly with warm white lights and burlap.

Christmas Tree Tour17 We placed a chalkboard at the base in the front of the copper tub to countdown the days to Christmas.

Christmas Tree Tour13 I have a string of bubble lights also embracing this tree and

Christmas Tree Tour10 a string of flame lights.

Christmas Tree Tour9 I keep a pail of crystals on hand and this year placed them all over this tree.

Christmas Tree Tour16 I also placed some of my antique ornaments here including this felt stocking from I believe the 1940’s or 1950’s.

Christmas Tree Tour8  I love bottle brush decor and found this one at Joann Fabrics this year along with

Christmas Tree Tour5 this gorgeous glittery chandelier ornament with crystal accents.

 Lastly, I tucked some silk poinsettias between the branches to fill out this tree a bit.

Christmas Tree This tree sits in a corner in my dining room ~ when I opened my bine of ornaments I liked the way the red and blue ornaments looked together so that was the inspiration for this tree. {Yes, this is my normal thought process!}

Christmas Tree Tour1 This is the final tree and sits on my desk ~ it’s covered with some Dollar Tree ornaments as well as the ornaments I had left after decorating the other trees and sits in a brass bowl that was a recent thrift store find.
