I hope you have all had a great week and have been enjoying the weekend.  I’ve been cold but then again, it is winter!  I have lots of features from last week’s party and starting next week, the weekly linky party will take place on Monday, February 11th,  starting at 8 p.m. EST and as a fun little bonus, I will pin every entry from that first party!

Melissa at 5 foot 12 Creations shared her Kids Craft Corner.  My youngest son {and I} would be in absolute crafty heaven with a craft corner such as this.  Every element is so well thought out for convenience, practicality and fun ~ it is a welcomed dose of creative eye candy!

This pallet art by Suzan at Suzy Q Vintageous is absolutely beautiful.  It’s the lyrics to a song wonderfully scripted on some pallet wood ~ spectacular.

If you’ve never visited On Sutton Place you should!  Pour yourself a cup of coffee {or tea or water} and be sure to carve out enough time to peruse this lovely blog. Ann is a true textile artist.  I love these Reversible Buffalo Check and Matelasse pillow covers.

Pop up photo box ~ Jacque {half of the awesome DIY team of Matt and Jacque} from The DIY Village created this box as a gift to her parents for their wedding anniversary.  It features photos of the lovely couple that can be easily pulled up for viewing via a ribbon.  So clever!

Mirrors on the Wall ~ by Courtney at A Diamond in the Stuff.  These vintage mirrors are all so lovely and the flow of the mirror art on the wall ~ shapes and sizes ~ is mirror gallery perfection.

Diane from An Extraordinary Day has a vintage window frame that was a gift from a friend ~ I love items that have a story ~ and she decorated it for Valentine’s Day with a garland of hearts and a simple but lovely fabric floral wreath.

Barn Wood Shelves by Mellie at Vintage Mellie ~ I love old and vintage  ~ they evoke thoughts of times gone by and the people who touched or used those items.  These barn wood shelves are a great way to make use of some well worn beautiful wood.  I  Mellie’s ironstone collection!

This chandelier reminds me of a pair of groovy chandelier earring from the 60’s {think Austin Powers}.  Would you believe it’s made from wax paper?  Check out the tutorial and more inspirational pictures by the very talented Kelly at JAX Does Design.

Here’s a recap of what I was up to this week ~

I made some coffee-dyed book page flowers, shared the great deals that Consumer Crafts offers and made a quick, easy and inexpensive cupcake wrapper centerpiece.

And now for this week’s party.  Just a few pleases and thank yous.

Mary Beth, thank you so much for featuring my DIY capiz chandelier :-) It took a lot of patience, but it was a lot of fun to make, and it really looks like the real thing. The only thing missing is the sound real capiz shells make when they clink in the breeze.

I really like all the projects you’ve featured this week – so many talented & creative bloggers out there :-) I’m hoping to have a room makeover to share with you next week :-)
