Dollar Store Princess

I was at the Dollar Store a few weeks ago and saw the cutest small white frames with glass and white ribbons {to hang them} and thought they could be used for something…so I bought three.

I was at Michael’s and saw a really cute rub-on ~ It’s Not Easy Being A Princess….I bought this having no idea what I would use it for…I mean I have all boys…can’t make anything for them with this…but it was cute…sooo…I bought it.

{see the picture above hanging from a dowel on my ribbon rack…why don’t I just put a nail in the wall to take pictures like this???}

Well, lo and behold we were invited to a birthday party for a little girl…a real cutie… A little Princess {my wheels started turning}…we bought her some gifts but I wanted to use my frame {at least one} and the rub-ons.

I took apart the frame, cut the rub on to fit {I did NOT want to rub this on the glass}, placed the rub on under the frame.  I used some of the crown and dot rub ons for the frame which had an ample enough border to decorate and that was it…a picture fit for a Princess.

{Notice the ribbon….I had to take it apart and iron it…I have a problem with “touching” things….I was so worried I wouldn’t be able to get it back on the right way but that didn’t stop me…I get on my own nerves…oi!}
