Growing up I had a brass bed…oh how I loved that bed…. I had a room to myself {once my sister got married}- it was a corner bedroom with two walls of windows…wall to wall windows painted pale blue. I had white curtains with dark blue embroidered trim and a matching bedspread, shams and dust ruffle… with fluffy blue carpeting… talk about living the life… {don’t wake me…I like this memory…zzzzzz}
Fast forward to the present time… I have a nice enough bed… it used to have a headboard and matching foot board… then I got married… my husband is really tall… so the foot board had to go… and I have 3 boys and a big black dog that sheds everywhere…so, a simple blue comforter… no dust ruffle and green shams…nothing matches..but in my dreams my bed looks something like the pictures strewn about here today…
