Being a working mom everyone in our house has to pitch in which is great.  I have all boys and I want them to be self-sufficient and know their way around a kitchen, laundry room, etc. so that they can take care of themselves and if/when they get married they can share the load with their spouse.  That being said, my oldest son made dinner tonight and it was fabulous.  He whipped this up with what was on hand {it’s been so snowy and cold here I haven’t felt like grocery shopping so meals are just what we have on hand at this point}.

J.R.’s Spaghetti Casserole

1 pound of pasta {any pasta}

1 jar of spaghetti sauce

6 strips of turkey bacon {or any kind of sausage, bacon, ground meat, pepperoni you have on hand}

8 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2.  Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

3.  Mix drained pasta with spaghetti sauce and cooked meat {bacon, ground meat, etc.}.

4.  Place spaghetti mixture in a large casserole dish.

5.  Cover with shredded cheese and bake for 15 to 20 minutes until cheese melts.

That’s it!
