I love cupcakes-I guess that’s obvious. Cupcakes represent more to me than just a delicious orb of tastiness! They represent innocence-the kind you see when a little child smiles from ear to ear when you give them a cupcake. They are like a giant loop of family show reruns from the 50s and 60s. I’ll bet Leave it to Beaver had cupcakes on the set and June just loved baking and decorating them while wearing pearls, high heels and an apron.
I wish I could say that even ONE of these lovely creations is mine, but alas they are the creations of wonderful, talented crafters from all across the internet. What is it about cubcakes? I always wondered. It’s true it has to do with innocence, just pure innocent joy, for some reason. I guess we just respond to cuteness that way. And they are cute, super cute.

I love (with extra big poofy hearts) cupcakes as well!! They are so nostalgic! I do not make them a whole lot, but I enjoy splurging once in while at a fancy bakery and getting a really pretty cupcake! I do make some cupcake tassels as well. They are always a hit!! I recently found some cupcakes that rescemble the cream filled cupcake picture you have. I’ll be making some tassels from those in the summer! You should check them ou!

The apple cupcakes are adorable. I was planning on making
“dirt cupcakes” (choc. frosting, crushed oreos, gummi worms) for my daughters class next week on her birthday. Now I just don’t know. Those apple ones are speaking to me.

I love fancy decorated cupcakes, but never make them myself. My mother-in-law gave me an adorable cupcake book recently with tons of recipes and decorating ideas, haven’t tried any yet but love looking at the pictures! These were great to see!
