Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Wraps-Easy Peasy!

This past weekend we had a birthday celebration for my youngest son.  It was a Pirate Themed Party {more on that later this week including a quick and easy treasure chest cake, a treasure chest/treasure hunt and photoshop pirates}.  One of the appetizers was so easy to make and tasty that I wanted to share it with you on this lovely Monday.

Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Wraps

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

1 tablespoon Ranch-style dressing mix

8 sun-dried tomato tortillas

1 pound of pre-cooked bacon crumbled or cook, drain and crumble your own {I purchased a bag of precooked and crumbled bacon at Sam’s Club-more than enough for this recipe plus enough for future wraps and salads}

shredded lettuce

3 tomatoes seeded and chopped

Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream and dressing mix and spread evenly on each tortilla to 1/2 inch of the edge.  Layer the bacon, lettuce and tomatoes on top of the mayo mixture.

Roll up, place seam side down and slice into thirds.

BLT hugs, mb.

I love making wraps for lunch. They are something really quick and simple that I can make when I don’t want to do too much cooking. I will have to try these BLT wraps this summer when the boys are out for summer vacay.

I used to make these exact wraps in a Bistro where I worked – they are so yummy! And I can’t wait to hear about this pirate party!
