Yesterday, rather than staying home I found myself at a lovely little antique store about 20 minutes from my house. There were so many OTHER things I could have been doing, but sometimes, Impractical calls my name {She is rather stern when she calls, so I listen} and I went. I had no intention of buying anything but then I saw him, Santa…and, he was only $2.00…so, he came home with me and is the official start of Christmas decorating for me {a somewhat flimsy start, but, a start}.
If you want to do some online shopping of unique, beautiful, handmade items, be sure to check Elizabeth Holcombe’s etsy shop. She is having a sale all month long. Details are available at her site.
Giving is always better than receiving {almost always} and in the true spirit of Christmas, Ms. Fussypants has some charitable suggestions over at her site. You can donate as little as a dollar. That pretty much fits every budget.
Blissfully Domestic is having a holiday gift bouquet giveaway. Details are available at their site as well as on my Give-Away page.
I will be back later today with some really good Coffee Cookies….combining coffee, chocolate and cookies all in one…what more could a true coffee/chocolate/cookie lover ask for. I will be heading over to Tempt My Tummy Tuesdays with my cookies taking pictures before I have a few, with coffee of course, and then freezing the rest for Christmas. Stay warm and happy. hugs, mb.
